FAQ
Common questions about playing free browser games on Nexoora Hive.
Is Nexoora Hive free?
Completely. Every game is free to play with no purchase, subscription, trial or premium tier. Advertising pays
for the platform, which is what keeps the whole catalogue open to everyone.
Do I need an account?
No. You can play anything here without registering, without an email address and without logging in. An optional
account exists purely to keep a list of games you liked across visits — it unlocks nothing and is never required.
Do I have to download or install anything?
No. Every game is HTML5 and runs inside your browser tab. Nothing is downloaded, nothing is installed, and
closing the tab ends the game. No launcher, no plugin, no app.
Which browsers and devices work?
Any reasonably current browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Opera and their mobile versions, on Windows,
macOS, Linux, ChromeOS, Android and iOS. Keeping your browser up to date matters — older versions lack features
newer games rely on.
Can I play on a phone or tablet?
Most of the catalogue works on touch devices. Games built with touch controls play natively; a minority designed
around keyboard and mouse are better on a computer, and usually say so on their title screen. Landscape helps for
games built around a wide play area.
A game will not load. What now?
Refresh and give it a few more seconds — larger games take a moment to download.
Turn off any ad blocker or script blocker for this site; these frequently block the game frame itself.
Try a different browser to rule out an extension.
Check your browser is up to date.
If it still fails, use the Report button on the game page. Those reports come straight to us and
are how most broken games get found.
Why is a game running slowly?
Browser games share your device with everything else you have open. Closing other tabs and applications usually
helps a lot. Some 3D titles are genuinely demanding and run better on a desktop than an older phone.
How do I play fullscreen?
Every game page has a Fullscreen button beside the rating controls, just under the player. Press
Esc to come back out.
Are the games safe for children?
The overwhelming majority are family friendly and we do not host adult content. That said, we carry many
third-party titles and cannot individually rate every one. We suggest parents supervise younger children and use
browser or operating-system parental controls. Report anything inappropriate and we will review it.
Is my progress saved?
Saving is handled by each game, usually through your browser's local storage. Progress normally survives if you
come back in the same browser on the same device, and is lost if you clear browser data, switch devices, or play in
private browsing. Nexoora Hive itself does not store game saves.
How do I find a specific game?
Use the search box at the top of any page — suggestions appear as you type. If you are browsing rather than
searching, the category index narrows things down by genre and
Trending shows what people are playing right now.
How often are new games added?
Regularly. Fresh Drops always lists the most recent additions first, which is the
quickest way to see what has changed since your last visit.
Can I submit my own game?
Yes — developers and publishers are welcome to send a playable link and a short description through the
contact page.
Why do I see advertising?
Advertising pays for hosting, bandwidth and the work of keeping the catalogue in good shape, and it is the reason
everything here stays free with no paywalls. Ads sit in fixed, clearly labelled places and never cover the game.
How do I report a copyright issue?
Send a notice through the contact page including proof of ownership and the
exact URL. Full details are on that page.
